American Alternative rock band The Raconteurs, (aslo known as The Saboteurs in Australia), are a supergroup led by JACK WHITE (of the White Stripes) - vocals, guitar, synthesizers and BRENDAN BENSON (of The Greenhornes) - Vocals, guitar, keyboards. The other members are: JACK LAWRENCE (of Blanche) - bass and PATRICK KEELER (of The Greenhornes) - drums, percussion. The band was formed in 2005 due to friends, Jack White and Brendan Benson writing the song 'Steady as She Goes' one summer. This song went on to become their debut single which they released off their album, 'Broken Boy Soldiers'(2006) Their second album, Consolers of the Lonely is due to be released on March 25th.
