The Human League formed in Sheffield in 1977, and acheived great popularity in the 80's as a synthpop / new wave band. Since 1979 the band led by vocalist and songwriter, Philip Oakley, have released nine studio albums stating that they will release a tenth!! The other members of the long-serving trio are: Joanne Catherall and Susan Ann Sulley.
