Los Campesinos are a seven piece indie pop band from Cardiff, Wales. Their name 'Los Campesinos' translates from Spanish to English as, 'The Farmers or Peasants' The group formes in 2006 whilst at university and consists of Aleksandra, Ellen, Gareth, Harriet, Neil, Ollie and Tom - lead guitarist and songwriter. The band were signed by Wichita Recordings in 2006 and released their first single in Feb 2007. Their debut album, 'Hold on Now Youngster...' was released in the UK in February 2008 and in the US April 1st.
