Kaki King, real name Katherine Elizabeth King, born 1979 in Atlanta Georgia, is an American singer-songwriter and accomplished musician who is now based in New York. Although mainly playing the guitar, she is also a talented percusionist and pianist. Kaki has been recording since 2001 and has released four studio albums to date with 'Dreaming of Revenge'(March 2008) being her most recent. As well as composing material for her albums, King has also been involved in composing and recording original music for films. She also features dueting with Dave Grohl on 'Ballad of the Beaconsfield Miners' on the Foo Fighter's album, Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace.
