Thank You was the second single by Dido, which was released in June 2001. It is the singer's biggest hit off her debut album, No Angel. Samples from the track were featured on the song 'Stan' by Eminem; a rare example of a song becoming a hit after a track which sampled it did. Dido wrote this song herself as a tribute to her boyfriend Bob, they got engaged in 2001 but this engagement did not last long and they broke apart the following year.
