'Dumb It Down' is the street single on Lupe Fiasco's Lupe Fiasco's The Cool. It was first released as a digital download b-side to 'Superstar'on September 25, 2007. On October 16, it was released as a b-side to the 12" vinyl 'Superstar' single. iTunes later released it as a stand alone single on December 4, 2007. It is produced by Soundtrakk who creates a slow synth-heavy beat to assist its mocking lyrics: Lupe rhymes about how too many people want music to be 'dumbed down.' It features background vocals provided by GemStones and Graham Burris.
