'Fighter' is the third single from Christina Aguilera's second album Stripped. It was released in 2003. It reached 20 in the U. S. and did particularity well in the UK reaching number 3. The song became more well known as it was used on the commercials for the 2003 NBA Play-offs. Aguilera co-wrote this track and said it was about 2 specific people who cheated and stole from her in the past and she put her trust in them.
