'Gangsta's Paradise' is one of Coolio's most famous hits. The track which featured on the movie 'Dangerous Minds'(1995) starring Michelle Pfeiffer also features on Coolio's album, of the same name. Coolio won a grammy award for both the song and album in 1995 Gangsta's Paradise is a reworking of Stevie Wonder's 'Pastime Paradise' which features on his 'Songs in the Key of Life' album. The music video was directed by Antoine Fuqua and features Michelle Pfeiffer reprising her role in Dangerous Minds.
