Take Me on the Floor is a pop dance song written by Jessica Origliasso, Lisa Origliasso and Toby Gad, taken from The Veronicas' second album Hook Me Up (2007). It is the fourth single from the album in Australia with a release date sometime in August, 2008. The release was confirmed on a nation-wide radio countdown, The Hot 30. The single follows the success of the first three singles from the Hook Me Up album, all achieving Top 10 on the Australian ARIA Singles Chart. The song has been used in promotional ads for the 2008 season of Australia's Dancing With The Stars.
