We Ride is a RnB/Pop song recorded by Rihanna for her second album A Girl like Me (2006). The song was confirmed as the album's third single by MTV and was released in mid-2006. In the U. S. 'We Ride' failed to enter the Hot 100, but performed somewhat stronger elsewhere. It also did not enter the Canadian Singles Chart, but reached the UK Singles Chart top twenty and New Zealand Singles Chart top ten. Because of its relative underperformance, the single 'Break It Off' (2006, featuring Sean Paul) began receiving airplay earlier than expected.
