Song from the album Licensed to III (1986). It may have been referring to the pre-mixed cocktail produced by the Heublein Company in the 1980's and 1990's. At the time that 'Brass Monkey' was released, liquor stores carried mostly beer, wine, and hard alcohol; there were very few pre-mixed alternatives. For the Beastie Boys, Brass Monkey may have provided a more palatable alternative to the typical alcoholic fare for the female companionship that they constantly tried to lure.
