Gotta Work is a song by Amerie, and is the second single from her 2007 album, Because I Love It . It samples, Hold On I'm Coming, written by Isaac Hayes and David Porter. Amerie called the sound of the song 'go-go soul, saying go-go like really strong black coffee, some people can't ingest it in its purest form. The style is bit similar to Beyonce Crazy In Love.
