The company was formed in West Ealing, London, in November 1975 and is based in England with additional offices in New York. The label has released over 400 albums with Greensleeves Publishing has the largest catalogue of reggae songs in the world. Artists signed to the label include: Gregory Issacs, Lady G, Dennis Brown, Dr Alimantado, Shabba Ranks, Tippa Irie, Shaggy and Beenie Man.
