Congrats to Katy Perry! The Californian singer/songwriter's new single 'I Kissed a Girl' just claimed the top spot on Billboard's Hot 100 chart, sending Coldplay's 'Viva La Vida' crashing to No. 6.  The quirky tune also became the 1,000th No. 1 of the rock era, which began with Bill Haley and His Comets' 'Rock Around the Clock' in 1955.
