Kings of Leon have finally scored their first Uk Number One for their latest single Sex On Fire, knocking Katy Perry - I Kissed A Girl off the top spot which she held onto for the last five weeks. She moves down to 2nd whilst another new entry debuts at 3rd place for Sir Cliff Richard with his new single 'Thank You For A Lifetime'

Meanwhile in album news, Metallica's ninth album, Death Magnetic entered the charts at the coveted top spot beating Glasvegas with their self titled album which debuted at number two. Great news for the heavy rockers, as they only released their album a few days before the charts were collated.
